ANDEAN SHAMANISM INITIATORS

According with Okulta publication, the Q´eros are the last Incas. They had a population of 600 persons, who sheltered themselves over the 4 hundred meters of altitude in the Peruvian Andean, in order to escape from the Spanish colonizer. During five centuries the Q´ero tribe, had lived practically isolated from the rest of the world. They preserved a sacred prophecy about a great change, or Pachacuti, in which the world will take a turn, reestablishing harmony and order, ending the chaos and disorder.

The publications indicate that the Q´eros were discovered by the anthropologist Oscar Nuñez del Prado in 1949 at the south of Peru. The first occidental expedition to the Q´ero villages was on 1955. In 1959 with the annual celebration in the Andes, miles of persons attended to the Pleiades Return. Between them there were many shamans, who observed astonished how the Q´eros, dressed with the symbol of the Inca Sun, went to the peak of a mountain in order to announce that the prophecy time was near.

A little Q´ero group, including the leader tribe and the shaman chief, visited several cities in the United States in November 1996, in fulfillment of the prophecies. They celebrated a private ceremony in New York City, in the Cathedral Saint John Divine. This shamanic ritual has not been celebrated since 500 years ago in the home of those who symbolize the ancient conquers of their ancestors Inca. They shared their rituals and knowledge with all people who wanted to know their customs, and also with the Cathedral Dean, connecting in this way symbolical and spiritual the America Continent from the North to the South. According to an ancient prophecy, this moment is called mastay, which means reintegrate the nations of the four cardinal points. The Q´eros are offering their knowledge to Occident, as a preparation for the day in which the North Eagle and the South Condor will fly together again. The munay, as they belief, love and compassion will be the guide force of union of these great people.
“The new world guardians will come from occident, and they who have caused a great impact in the Mother Earth have now the moral responsibility to rebuild their relations with Her, after rebuilding themselves”, says a shaman master Q´ero, Mr. Antonio Morales. The prophecy indicates that North America will give the physic courage, or body, Europe will give the mental aspect, or head, and South America will give the heart.

The prophecies are optimists. They refer to the final times as we understand. They also refer to the destruction of our actual thinking and being form, and the end of our relation with nature and earth.

In the next years, the Incas wait for the time that we go into a gilt age, a gilt millennium of peace. The prophecies also refer to a tumultuous earth and human psychic changes, to turn again our relations and spirituality. Pachacuti has begun now and he promises a new human being after this disordered period. The shaman’s chiefs talk about a break in time. This offers an opportunity to describe us not as we have been in the past, in personal and collective order, but in the way we will be in the future. The Q´ero believe that the doors between the worlds are opened again, holes in the time that we can cross and go far away, where we can explore our human capacities and recover our luminous nature. Now this is the possibility for all who ventures to jump.

Pachacuti also refers to the great Inca chief who lived at the end of XIV Century. It is a presumption that he constructed Machu Picchu, and he was also the architect of a great empire, as big as United States. To the Incas, Pachacuti was the spiritual prototype – a Master, a luminous being out of time. He was the Messiah, but not as the Christian significant. He was considered like a symbol and a promise of the future of the human being. Pachacuti personify the prophecies essence, because Pacha means “earth” or “time” and “cuti” means “put the things in order”. His name also means “earth transformen”.

The Andean shamans do not have a Buda or a Christ to follow. Their ancestral believes says: “Follow your own footsteps. Learn of the river, trees and rocks. Reverence the Christ, the Buda and your brothers and sisters. Reverence the Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. Reverence yourselves and all the creation”.“Look with the eyes of your soul and gathered with the essential”, these are the teachings of Q´eros.
