Holguin is one of the Cuban provinces with excellent conditions to enjoy diving. There is no much information about this modalty and only recently a little about it has been published. The province has 9 300.5 km2 and 1029 627 inhabitants, it's among the largest and most populated provinces in Cuba. Holguin is one of the main tourist destinations of the country. After leaving Camaguey in your cuba vacations, before arriving in Santa Lucia, you were suggested to stay at Nuevitas Harbor, on the Northern coast, to continue towards the East of Cuba. We suggest doing so because there are still two interesting places to visit on the North of the province: Cubitas Mountain Range and one of the largest islands of the King´s Gardens archipelago...

After having enjoyed the privileges of Santa Lucia Beach in your cuba vacations, we suggest continuing towards the East. There is a city we recommend, Las Tunas, capital of the province of the same name, founded in 1796. The distance between Santa Lucia and Las Tunas is about 87 km.

Towards the coast of the province you should take the road that leads to Gibara, which is going to be the departure point to visit the whole Northern coast. This city is less than 35 km from Holguin...

Cuba, located next to the Tropic of Cancer, is a tropical country. The information usually given through the media refers to Cuba as an island. That is why people are surprised when, referring to the Republic of Cuba; its archipelagos are also mentioned because Cuba is not really an island but a group of islands known in the Caribbean as keys.

The Caribbean islands are not large but they have paradisaical surroundings with beaches and vegetation typical of the tropic, some of them with volcanoes. In Cuba, beaches and vegetation are richer and larger than in the rest of the small islands. They are different from each other, that is why they are divided into different groups: the Bahamas Islands, and the Greater and the Lesser Antilles.

Moron is a city that offers multiple choices for those who love nature as well as those who prefer social and cultural activities.
